1713-1750
The War of Spanish Succession still isn't over. But then, on April 11th, 1713, the Treaty of Utrecht is signed. The treaty ends the war, but there's a catch, no First Nations were part of the negotiating process. France was forced to give up some land. French Acadia, Newfoundland, and Hudson Bay lands were given to the English. The French keep St. Pierre and Miquelon, Ile Royale (Cape Breton), and Ile Saine-Jean (PEI).
