Storm of the Century

You take the dusty box and slide it open. It only has a limited number of things but you could do with it. There were 4 things in it. 1. Some bandages 2. A bunch medicine you’ll probably never use 3. Some hardtack bread (for eating of course) 4. A “Supa-cool Ice pack” that was surprisingly still frozen. You take those and as you close the box, suddenly the lights go out. They flicker on and off for a 2 minutes straight and finally gleam again. You guys infer that the storm made the power go out. Then there is a sudden knocking on the basement doors. You hope your “instant lock” would hold on the doors but wonder if the storm is over and it’s a survivor trying to help.
