Sagewhip

You walk back a couple of steps then take a run up and jump over the ditch. A fox steps out of the shrubbery on the other side (of the ditch) and growls. That was close! The sun is setting, you could continue but you know better then to run at night. You find a hollow log and you settle down to sleep. In the morning you hunt a rabbit and eat it. You hear a yelp from a kit somewhere to your right.
