Your family chooses to go to Jordan. Jordan has been welcoming many refugees from the Middle East area for many years,In the 80;s and 90's many Palestinians settled in refugee camps here, and your family has high hopes of settling in a place not so very different from their own. They pack up the few possessions they were able to rescue from the ruined home and spend several days walking to the Jordanian border. Sadly when you arrive at the border between Syria and Jordan your family is refused permission to enter due to the overwhelming number of refugees that have already crossed into Jordan. Jordan is overwhelmed with refugees and is having difficulty feeding and housing the ones who have already entered.
