The Siege of Evil

A yes a knight. The valor of hand combat and steel. Some would say that mages are more powerful; since magic errodes metal and all. But a knight knows, that no matter how strong the mage is. Their lack of ability to armour themselves with anything stronger than a gambeson. Means a quick death awaits them if not for the protection of a knight. You have been tasked with such duty yourself. You alone may not have the power to destroy the army bellow you like a mage can. But you do know how to defend such the mage that can. And you better do, or you are all doomed. You are in the middle of the attack the mage is incinerating everyone climbing the walls. Then out of nowhere an attacker appears. You have to think quick.
