Four Kingdoms, The

A cabin is on the map, facing north. The actual cabin seems to be facing northeast from the position of the sun. The map has unfamiliar markings on it and seems to have landmarks where there shouldn't be.You come across a pond in the middle of a clearing, near where the map has an X. You can see the shape of something submerged in the lake. You also spot a set of footprints in mud near the lake.
