You quickly walk toward Edith, and calmly speak to her. "Edith, look at me. You need to get to your room, somewhere safe. Do not worry, Watson and I will handle this."
It takes her a moment to register what you are saying to her. She looks back to her father and stares in horror, and you shake her once more just a bit. She looks back at you, slowly nods, and walks away from the scene and wanders up to her room, a stricken expression plastered on her face.
You wait for her to get safely up to her room, then you look over to Watson, Mr. Bennett, and the Professor.
