The Woods Past the Carnival

You quickly head up the road, and soon, before you know it, the carnival is only a few feet away. You scan the entrance, looking for Kaelynn and Jax. Jax's cheerful, boyish face pops into view. He's holding cotton candy, and offers you some. You take it gratefully.
"Where's Kaelynn?" you ask. Jax jerks his thumb towards the bathroom. You nod, and realize how big and vast the carnival is. Loud music blares out from everywhere.
