“Alright boy, where do you need to go?”
“Back to the origin. That’s my last destination.”
The Captain silently guided the ferry back to the origin, while Rudy sat in thought.
Once they reached the origin, Rudy and the Captain stayed in the ferry for three days.
On the third day, Rudy grew anxious. The waters monotonously beat against the sides of the ferry, a rhythm that was driving Rudy crazy. The Captain was engrossed in the skyline, and hadn’t said a word to Rudy since they docked at the Origin. He was close to giving up.
Suddenly, the ocean began to swirl about the Origin. Rudy felt like he had become the center of the universe.
Another voice came out of the sky, softer than that of Exponential Point before.
“What brings you here child?”
A wave of calm washed over Rudy.
“I’m looking for my other half.”
An aura of pensiveness diffused through the environment. The voice gently stated, “I have the answers you need. Follow me.”
