Period 5 HSA

You follow the main road and make it to the inner city without encountering any bandits. Today is your lucky day. As you enter the city, night falls and you search for a place to sleep. Having found one, you proceed to go to bed, and fall asleep. The next morning, you are awoken by loud screams, shouts, and chants. Confused, you look outside, where a huge mob of peasants carrying makeshift weapons and torches have gathered at the Bastille. Groups of people are charging the Bastille and setting fire to everything inside. The few guards at the Bastille are no match for the angry mob, and soon the Bastille is under the control of the Peasants. Many of the people are wearing tricolor cockades, and red headgear known as Phrygian caps, and almost all are carrying a weapons of sorts. What do you decide to do?
