These Boxers were a terrifying force, killing and torturing suspected chinese christians, destroying churches and other foreign property. They led a infamous relentless siege where Beijing, China's capital, was taken over with hundreds of foreigners held hostage. This rebellion ended when a international force placed troops within China to relieve it of Boxers.
