But hold on a second. "Persons who neglect their calling to employment...shall be deemed and considered as vagrants." That could slap you with a hundred dollar fine, and as a newly freed slave, you hardly have a penny! You don't want to be thrown in jail, do you? You need a job! But first, how old are you?
