Revenge of the Picklebacked Peas

You take for yourself a broadsword, a short knife, a long knife, a bow, and a quiver filled to bursting with arrows. The woman takes your wrist and straps to it a device similar to Jonathan's except your knives are slightly smaller. "Thank you," you say, "May I ask your name?"

"I dare not tell you child. It is by good fortune that you do not remember it. If it gets out that I helped you it will be the gallows for me," she says.

About to open your mouth and protest that you wouldn't tell a soul, you just wish to know the name of your benefactor she says, "I don't doubt for a second that you would keep my secret to your gave, but the wizards throughout the realm have their own ways of obtaining information. Half the time their victims don't even realize that they have given away any information. Good luck child."

She leads you and Jonathan out of the castle using a side door. Hugging both of you swiftly she says, "Take the River Way until you reach the Lake Light Road. Take care to stay out of sight as much as possible. Farewell." She quickly turns around, crying silently, goes through the castle door, and slams it shut behind you.
