Extend the Story - Add a Room

After a completely normal day, you fall asleep almost immediately, and start to dream. Before you is an endless black void. You float around in it for a few minutes before a bright white light appears and pulls you in. You struggle against it futilely for a second before it engulfs you.

The next thing you know, you are in a strange toom with no windows or doors. Normally this would freak you out, but you feel oddly at peace. You notice that there is a table in front of you. On the table is a clear glass orb. You reach out and touch the orb, and feel a starnge tingle in your arm as strange knowledge passes into your mind. You are suddenly aware that when you wake up, you will be endowed with powers of the element best suited to your personality.
You know that millions of people are having the exact same experience as you are right now, and that you have to kill them before they kill you. You also know that your powers will get stronger for every powered person you kill.
Having done its job, the orb shatters in your hand and the white light appears again, and pulls you into it once more.
This time, you actually wake up and find yourself in your room.
