The Heart of Russia

"Alright, everybody, listen up!" the First Sergeant yelled into the comm. "Riptide, Burnout, and Diamond! Move forward without being seen and we'll have the rest of this poor excuse for a squad fan out and flank the enemy!"
"You heard the Sarge! Go!" Riptide yelled, and the squad broke and ran into the trees, spreading themselves out into three separate groups.
"I have three targets," Burnout said as he crouched in position. "I can take the middle one, and you two can keep going to get the two guys on the sides, but we'll have to let the rest of the squad deal with the five others."
"Sarge, this is Diamond. We have three contacts being taken care of. Get the squad around them and there should be the five others."
"Roger that. Boys, move out!" the Sarge yelled, and Burnout adjusted his sniper's scope to the correct windspeed and distance. He sighted the middle man and put the rets right on his nose. The resounding BOOM of a .50 caliber supersonic round exploded into the cold air. The unlucky Russian's head burst in a bloody explosion, splattering the snow behind him with red. His partners jumped away, only to be met by the rest of the Allied squad. More blood spilled and the snow melted into red rivers that slid down the slight incline. Riptide and Diamond were already way ahead of Burnout by the time he got up and started to run again. When they caught up with the squad, their pincher tactic had already taken place and the Russian soldiers lay dead in the snow.
"Sir, what should we do next?" one of the privates asked.
"Let me think for a second, private."
"Sir, we should move now so that we don't get ambushed by any--"
"Could you put that in a memo and entitle it shit, I already know?! I said shut the fuck up while I think!"
"Sorry sir."
"....We set up camp just north of here. Go two kilometers north and we should be set. Alright ladies? Go!"

After thirty minutes of hard running in the snow, the team set up camp and used minitorches to cook canned food.
"Sir, we should have a recon team scouting the area," Riptide said as he walked up to the First Sergeant.
"I already thought of that, Rip. I'm just debating if I should send out a full squad or just a small sniper team..."
The Sarge debated whether to send everyone east or not.
