Ortum Aquilae

3 days have passed since the nearly sexual offence Jonnathan and his friends made on you and you still cant forget what happened.

You are in the history class and you see Panoela in front left of you. You really hope Jonnathan didnt tell her about rubbing your face on his pant like that. You cant really go any lower, especially in her eyes.

Then the teahcer comes in, and she announces that today the lecture will be about the history of the Spanish-American community.

"When the third world war begun, a respectable amount of Spanish and American citizens were in Italy. Some of them were tourists, others were students, or local residents. When Italy was destroyed by the Arab's alliance bombings, between 7 August of 2035 and 3 December of 2035, life almost stopped to exist for more than 5 years. Most animals were struggling to survive, the remaining people were trying to live a decent life by living in shelters, and eating, among others, even cockroaches in order to live. A lot of mutation occured, just like in the rest of Europe. Is it a coincidence that the city that was most quickly re-established was Rome? No. The Rome was quickly re-established because it had the most survivors in numbers, but also many mutants. Also, its location in central Italy gave the city a geostrategically advantage, since many survivors from north and south Italy attempted to travel on foot in order to come to Rome, hoping that at least, the capital city of what once was the Italian republic, will be re-established. Also, the majority of American and Spanish tourists in Rome, tried to go back to their country throught aiplane. When the firstbombs landed in Italy, they were trapped in the airport, and they couldnt live. Those tourists were the first American and Spanish citizens who established their communites, although they were not unified as they are now.

The unification of the American and Spanish populace as in what is now called Spanish-American culture, occured in the first years of the forties. It was around then, when the current leader of Rome, Efisio Boveri, decided to expel all the Americans out of Rome, since he believed that Americans were partially responsible for the beginning of the third world war, and hold them responsible for the destruction of Italy. His nationalistic sentiment were clear though. More and more rumors wanted him an extreme nationalist who wanted Rome for Italians, or, even worse, Rome for Romans. Then, many powerful communities stood up against him, leaded by the most powerful non-Italian community, the Spanish one, and the second most powerul non-italian community, the Anerican.

They overthrew Efisio Boveri and placed our current ruler, Edouard Colbert, of French origin, who previously did a great job into establishing trade with cities in south France and building the first school in our city. Since then, Spanish and Americans decide to unite their communities and live together.

It is true indeed that now Rome is separated by thousands of small and big ethnic cmommunities, although keep in mind that the city operate as one cohesive unit, thus every member of any community have access to any district of the city. Over more, the rates of inter-cultural marriages are higher than ever. Lets take you as example. You Panoela, are from Greek-italian origin. And you Constantine, you have a French-Albanian ancestry.

And what about you, Philip Houston? You consider yourself Spanish-American, although your heroic father was Italian.

That shows that all these communities tend to stop to exist after some decades, although thats not bad, because only united we can succeed our main goal, which is to restore humanity, fight mutants and claim earth back.

Now, we wil procceed into studying the American and Spanish culture separately, the art and the kind of music they enjoy, and their relationship with the other strong communities of Rome, Italians, French, Greeks and Swiss...
