The Earl of Lemongrab is standing in front of you, with all his fatness. You saw him eat his own brother before, so you're kinda spooked.

"What are you doing trying to cross my wall?!? Unacceptable!!!"

You try to explain that you just want to get across, but he can't hear you over his screams.
