"Where were you last night around ten o'clock?" You ask.
"Ten o'clock? I believe I was at the clothing store down on the South End, getting my suit tailored," Arthur answers. "Why do you ask?"
"Well, I just-" you stutter.
"Carol, you don't seriously think I had something to do with Pavel's death, do you?" You wince. Arthur sounds genuinely hurt.
"I'm sorry, Arthur. I just want to absolutely certain. You understand, right?"
"Of course," Arthur says. You're not entirely sure he does, though.
