Vacation
"Seth, we didn't just come here to spend time by our selves. We came to relive those damn good times we had in college. Get off that lazy ass of yours and get your gear. We are going on a hike. Together!" Seth turns his head away from you and gives a huge sigh.
"Preston, I guess you're right. I'm coming." Says Seth as he picks himself up off the ground.
"Damn right I'm right!" you say excitedly appreciating the fact that Seth said you were right.
The four of you set off on your hike into the woods. The woods are dense and not touched by humans. There are no paths, there are fallen trees all over and small brooks in which you have to cross. Jedd leads the way with a machete as he cuts away at the vines that tangle down from the upper heights of the trees, and cuts away at branches that are in your way. Finally at one of the brooks that you come to, there is a small clearing. The four of you stop to take a break and have a small snack and fill up on water. After spending a few minutes in silence, the woods begin to rustle all around you. Something is moving in on your group, not just something though, many things. The entire forest is rustling. The four of you stand up abruptly, Jedd wields his machete and Riley and you pull out your pocket knives.
"What the hell." gasps Riley.
Out of the woods emerges what appear to be humans. They wear loin clothes, and have what seems like tattoos of birds, snakes, fish, and small woodland creatures all over their bodies. All of them, hold bows loaded with arrows, spears, or machete like blades. There is maybe twenty of them, way too many for your crew to take on by yourselves. They must have been following y'all out here and found this to be a good time to ambush you.
"What do you want? We come in peace." bellows Jedd as he slowly places down his machete. One of the men comes over to Jedd and grabs his machete after he placed it on the ground and made some odd noises at Jedd. It seems like he was trying to communicate with him. "I don't understand you man." repeats Jedd.
You have always looked up to Jedd, are you going to comply with him this time?
