Life of a Gun Runner

You decide that although the street gangs will be more willing to hook you up with cash and other perks immediately, taking the time to deal with the organized and successful players first will benefit you in the long run. You dial a number on one of your mobile phones and tap your feet in anticipation.

A gruff voice responds on the other line in a heavy accent. "Speak."

"I'd like to speak to Jose Delgado."

"He's not here. Can I take a message?"

"Tell him the dealer wants to talk."

You hear people speaking rapid-fire in another language, Spanish you assume. A shuffling of feet occurs before another voice responds. "Good afternoon, mister..."

"Just call me dealer."

"Right, ah, mister dealer. As you know we're aware of your advertisements and are willing to pay you in cash up front for all of your assault rifles, grenades, and your shotgun."

You contemplate the deal before responding. "That's a lot of weapons I'm bringing over, Jose. How can I be sure you won't pull a fast one one me."

"You can't be sure, mister dealer," You frown, imagining the grin on that sly bugger's face. "You have my word that you won't be harmed, nothing more. The Delgado's are interested in your sudden venture. I know that you would take these very same precautions if you were in our position."

So, what will it be? If you sell to these guys, you risk getting ambushed or even robbed of your belongings. Don't sell and you'll have lost a powerful contact, along with attracting some unwanted attention.
