Interdimensional Traveler
You decide to surrender.
You are hauled off to jail by seventeen armed cops. "All this for taking a swing at some peon?" you say?
The arresting officer punches you and says "Watch your mouth, smartass."
You are in front of a judge the next morning. "How do you plead?"
"Not guilty", you say.
"It is apparent you are not competent enough to make a sensible plea, therefore I override your plea and plead you guilty on your behalf" replies the judge.
What the FUCK?! They can DO that?!
"Fourteen years...hard labor..." the judge says.
"But..." you stammer.
"You're supposed to thank me for bringing you to justice! That's double sentence for failure to do that. Twenty-eight years..."
"Fuck you!" you reply.
"All right, contempt of court..."
"What do I get for that?!" you sarcastically reply. "Life?"
"No, don't be stupid! We don't give life sentences for contempt of court..."
You breathe a sigh of relief...then see the judge whip out a machine gun, which he shoots you with.
Apparently the sentence for contempt of court here is death.
