Pirates and Princes

"I think I have a fine lavender muslin! Would that do M'lady?" You're lady in waiting chimes, clearly looking for a reason to momentarily leave the room.

You stare at yourself as she leaves, the way your bosom pools out of the dark corset looks simply scandalous. The prince will be in for a treat if he plays his cards right, and you're feeling that certain illustrious craving in the depths of you're gut again. You leave your chambers and bound down the hall with a haughty gait.

As you approach the hall adjacent to the center garden you halt midstep. A handsome young man is eyeing you sheepishly from amidst a bed of yellow daffodils and tulips. From what you can tell at your distance, he is rather small for a man much more akin to a tall boy. He bends down and plucks a tulip and brings it to his mouth. The curve of his arm is so elegant that your hurt skips a beat. The blue of his overcoat draws him in stark contrast with the pale yellow flowers, while the striking silver of his inner vest sparkles in the sunlight.
