Peggy and Mike both raise their eyebrows at your request.
"A Beatles fan? In 2032?" Mike whistles. "Outta sight."
You grin. "Your slang is only out of date by about 70 years."
"Damn. What are you kids using these days?"
You're about to tell Mike when the room lurches, indicating you've halted at your destination. The two time travellers stand still in front of you.
"So," you say. "What door do we use? That one there?"
You point at the door by the mixing desk.
"Woah, woah, buddy!" Mike holds out his hand to stop you. "You can't go out wearing that!"
You look down at your jeans and nondescript trainers.
"What's wrong with this?"
Peggy laughs.
"You're in 1957. Are you sure you wanna wear Nike for this?"
You sigh, and nod. "Wear is the wardrobe?"
