You settle yourself further into your seat so that you feel more comfortable, crossing one leg over the other. A glance round at the others, however, reveals that everyone else is sitting straight with their feet firmly on the floor.
It just makes you feel even more out of place, but you don't put your leg down. It's more comfortable this way.
