A Mystical Adventure
You decide to keep going through the forest, figuring that the plants would be dormant now that they have been brushed aside by the strange flying tiger.
As you move, you see a gleaming figure a few yards ahead. Curious, you make your way forward, suddenly stopping in your tracks as you see a sad sight.
A beautiful unicorn lays on the ground, its legs sprawled out and its eyes sightless. Thick bruises coat its form, as if the creature had been bludgeoned to death. You shake your head in sadness, but are suddenly aware of the earth shaking.
The sound of galloping hooves catches your attention and you spin around as you spot tall figures through the trees making their way towards you. You barely have time to back away before a whizzing sound pierces the air.
A sharp pain tears through your shoulder and you grab at an arrow shaft that's protruding from your skin. Before you could shout out to the attackers, another arrow pierces your stomach.
The force of it causes you to fall backward onto the ground, your head falling upon the unicorn's neck. Your vision blurs as you watch a man tower over you, his horse-like body fidgeting beneath his torso.
His eyes narrow and he pulls his bow back. You feel one last piercing pain in your chest before darkness consumes you.
