Figuring that the letter can wait, you decide to roam the corridors.

The castle is well-designed, with sturdy walls, thoughtful lighting, and a logical structure, but you can't help noticing the lack of attention put into making the place look good. Every time you stay here, you feel like you're being held prisoner within the walls.

As you round the corner, you come to a long hallway with three doors. You become suddenly aware that you've never visited this part of the castle before. There's no way to determine where you are or what may lie beyond the doors. All you know is that one of the doors is made of light maplewood, another is made of dark mahogany, and the third is rotting and falling off its hinges.
