Can you juggle your teenage life?
You throw down the knife.
You: (Get it together, Toby! Guy wouldn't want you like this!)
You grab your bag from the end of your bed and you exit your room. You go downstairs where your Mother is there.
Your Mother: "Oh, so you are going to school. That's great. By the way, your guest is in the living room. Would you like some breakfast, darling?"
You: "No...no thanks, I'm not hungry..."
You turn to your right to enter the living room. You are in the living room and you see Tamsin on the sofa, sitting but sleeping. One arm is supporting her sleeping head. You smile at the fact that Tamsin would risk sleep just to check up on you. It makes you feel a bit better.
You shake Tamsin to wake her.
You: "Tamsin...Tamsin, you awake?"
Tamsin started to wake up but you could tell she was still half-asleep.
You: "Tamsin, come on, wake up"
You laugh a little bit. Once she realises its you, she quickly wakes up.
Tamsin: "Toby! Are you alright?"
You: "I guess...what are you doing here?"
Tamsin: "Oh sorry, was I asleep...I'm sorry...I only got about four hours sleep last night..."
You: "I can tell if you came here at 6 in the morning..."
Tamsin: "No, it...it wasn't that...I was up half the night because I was worried about you"
You flinched a bit. No one but your Family and Guy ever worried about you.
You: "Well...thanks...but why were you worrying?"
Tamsin: "Well, you just lost your friend and-"
You: "No, I mean, why would you care? I mean, barely anyone cares about me...its just 'Lets leave Toby...no one cares about him!' But, at least with Guy around, I could prove them wrong...I guess they are pretty much right now..."
Tamsin looked at you with a worried face.
Tamsin: "Well, they are still wrong...I care about you...Last night, I promised you I would give you support...So thats what I intend to do. Ok, Toby?"
Your mind flashbacked to last night when Tamsin informed you of Guy's location. You also remember how she promised she would give you support. She even contacted Guy's Parents so you wouldn't have to face their upset feelings.
You: "Wait...you really meant that Promise?"
Tamsin: "Yes...and I will prove it more!"
She took your hand.
Tamsin: "I'm your friend...I will help you, ok?"
You nodded.
You: "So, does this mean that you will show up at my house at 6am every morning?"
Tamsin shrugged.
Tamsin: "If you want..."
You: "Nah, that's cool, don't worry...But, after Guy's funeral, can we meet at the graveyard every morning at 7:30 am?"
Tamsin was about to question about the location but she soon realised why.
Tamsin: "You want to go to pay respects to your friend every morning?"
You nodded.
Tamsin smiled.
Tamsin: "I know, somewhere in Heaven, Guy is watching you and he is proud of you..."
You: "Thanks for your Support, Tamsin...Shall we go?"
She nodded and stood up. You both went headed for the door. You opened the door for her. She smiled and mouthed "Thanks" before walking through the door. You went through the door then shut it.
On the way to School, you decided to start up a conversation.
You: "Listen, I know Guy died and you are giving me support and everything...but can we just be good friends and try not to mention him...? I mean, I don't need support...I just need a friend right now"
Tamsin nodded.
Tamsin: "Of course"
You: "And, do you want to come with me to Guy's funeral? I feel like I need a close friend to come with me"
Tamsin nodded.
Tamsin: "Anything for you, I'll be there, when is it?"
You: "A week from now"
Tamsin: "Ok, I will come"
You: "One more thing...I want to apologise for being a Jerk...you know, when you told me you liked me and I just walked out...I guess I was nervous..."
Tamsin put her arm around you.
Tamsin: "Don't worry about it...I understand. I'm sorry for telling Tommy about it..."
You remember that kid who tried to mouth off to you and Guy.
You: "Nah, don't worry..."
Five minutes later, you and Tamsin started to enter the school. You saw a couple of people looking to you and Tamsin and looking back to their friends. You remembered the rumour about you and Tamsin. You turned to her.
You: "Tamsin..."
Tamsin: "Yes?"
You: "One more thing..."
You decide to suprise her and carry her with laughter. She screamed a little bit with laughter when you swooped her off her feet. Your left hand was supporting both her legs. Your right hand was supporting her back and she had both her arms around your neck, holding on to you.
Tamsin: "Don't drop me, don't drop me, don't drop me..."
You sense laughter in her tone. You can see some people stare at you with weird looks but you don't care. You decided to laugh too and run with her. So, this was what it was like to have fun...without Guy...
As you enter the hallway, you are still carrying her.
Tamsin: "Put me down, put me down!"
You still sensed laughter in her tone. You knew she was having fun too. But, you followed her orders and put her down.
You and Tamsin still couldn't get that last bit of laughter out of your throats.
Tamsin: "Don't get me wrong, that was fun! But, what was that for?"
You: "Hey, people still think we are a couple...so why not?"
You smiled at her as she managed to remember about the rumour.
Tamsin: "But, is our 'relationship' real or..?"
You: "Well, let's see...would you like to go out this Saturday?"
Tamsin: "Are you...are you asking me out?"
You: "I...I guess so..."
Tamsin smiled and looked at you.
Tamsin: "Of course! We can both go out this Saturday!"
You: "Great, so its a date!"
Tamsin laughed.
You held your arm out to offer her to link arms with you.
You: "Shall we?"
Tamsin smiled and linked her arm with yours.
Tamsin: "We shall"
You both linked arms, held hands and walked down the hallway while smiling at each other.
You: (Maybe happiness and fun without Guy is possible...)

The bell rings so it is time for the weekend. Your day went alright...a couple of people apologised for Guy's death and wished you the best, you had lunch with Tamsin and the day went on as normal...
Tamsin met you where you and Guy would usually meet. She greeted you with a hug.
Tamsin: "Hey, you..."
You: "Hey, you..."
You both laughed a bit because you failed to start a conversation.
Tamsin: "So, shall we go?"
Tamsin held out her hand offering for you two to hold hands.
You accepted the offer and held her hand.
You: "Sure!"

After taking the Bus and walking a while, it was time for you two to head off in different directions.
Tamsin: "So, we are still on for tomorrow, right?"
You: "Of course! Why wouldn't we?"
After that 5 seconds of silence went by, because you two had nothing more to say.
Tamsin: "Well...see you tomorrow then!"
She gave you a hug and walked down her road. You did the same.
You: (Wow...maybe life without Guy is possible...)
