And so she was stuck

She slid her feet into the sandals one after the other and... welcome relief swept over her. It was like going back to normal. No more irritation, no more uncontrollable bouts of laughter. She looked down at the black sandals, they were simple affairs, just one strap that went between her big toe to hold them on. Set in the center was a gem stone in a cool blue. Well this didn't seem to bad...

There was a ding at the computer and she looked across at the new message. "Hope you like, time for your second accessory. On the table next to the door is a phone with a wrist strap, put it on."

She frowned and huffed at the very blunt command. For a minute she was going to voice her irritation and refuse... but that's how she got into the mess, maybe she should just play along for a bit until she could escape. She walked over to the table and found a black phone designed for texting, a short black wrist strap dangled from it with a silver loop to tighten it. She picked it up and slipped the loop on, tightening it. Just as she finished the phone gave the same ding the computer had alerting her to a text message.

"Now we can keep in contact until we can finally meet in person Kimmy. I bet you're looking forward to that. And I hope you like the phone, it's not coming off any time soon."

At that the silver loop sealed itself shut so she couldn't loosen the strap and to her dismay it was too tight to slip over her wrist. There was another ding on the phone.

"Now don't try anything dumb like trying to make a call, this phone is one way... for now. Maybe you'll earn talking privileges later. Now then why don't you leave this stuff room behind, head outside."
