The morning red sun rises and as you awaken, you find yourself immediately alert and full of energy. As you gaze around the cage, you see that most of the Chikari are also awake and gazing at you intently. You hope that they all remember what to do, but these people have already impressed you with their willingness to follow you and learn your plan.

You all now listen to the sounds of the woods, not making a sound. One Chikari lets out a small cough but he quickly covers it up.

Finally, you hear voices and footsteps approaching. As you turn to your left you see the two Slabreth slavers who captured you yesterday. Oh, this payback is going to be sweet.

One of the Slabreth carries a bowl of nuts and as he starts to throw them into the cage, he laughs and looks at you. "How does it feel to be one of these poor bastards, Ranger? Still glad you enlisted?"

"Funny you should say that," you should reply and as he gives you a questioning look, you quickly grab his head and ram it into the bars. With a loud "Oof!" he falls back, clutching his head which is now bleeding profusely.

"You can't be serious human!" the other Slabreth shouts and draws his gun. A Chikari with long arms reaches through the cage and snatches it out of his hands, leaving the Slabreth with an expression of utter surprise. The Chikari looks at the gun uncertainly, then hands it over to you.

The other Chikari are all awake now and standing at the edge of the cage at the bars, excited and practically howling with anticipation. Looking at the Slabreth with a smile you find impossible to conceal, you raise the gun to him and he raises both his hands in the air. Instead of killing him, you then lower the gun to aim at his left leg and shoot him in the knee.

He falls to the ground, clutching his bleeding knee and screaming in pain. He looks at you in agony and as you now raise the gun to his head you say "Now unless you want to die right here, unlock this cage."

"I-I-I don't h-have the key!" he cries.

"Stop lying!" you yell at him. "I'll give you to the count of five to open this cage or your miserable life ends."

The Slabreth, crying huge tears, crawls over to the cage door and after fumbling with his ring of keys for a minute, unlocks the cage door. Immediately, the Chikari shout with joy and scramble to get out of their caged prison. You follow behind and as the Slabreth glares up at you, you return his gaze with a smirk and say "Too bad you and your buddy had to capture me, huh?" He spits at your feet and you just shake your head, walking away from him and his dying friend.

You follow the other Chikari through the woods for a bit until the Human-speaking one comes up to you and says "I am sorry to admit that me and my people do not know where we come from. We have no home that we can remember. Would you help us find settlement, human?"

You really want to help these people but you've already lost a lot of time and you need to meet up with your contact at Bak'ra'da. These people, while homeless, are still freed and your mission is to free ALL of the enslaved on Chista. But then again, perhaps your mission to free these people won't really be complete until you lead them to a new area of settlement.

What should you do?
