Epic Trek Book 1: Solister

Overlooking a swirling mass of stars and planets from his baleful throne, a dark and twisted spawn of pure evil pondered on what the universe was doing since he was last free (Even though he can't even remember the last time he had freedom for he had been locked in his vacant prison with only a throne and a window of the universe to accompany him.). He rubbed a scaly finger over his chin and thought of what to do. Then he remembered of the old sorcerer who had helped him conquer the universe before and thought of the powerful magic that could set him at liberty once more.

So, the tainted god thought of his companion until he was able to pinpoint his location. Then, the image of the universe gave way and melted into an image of an old and bony man with a long, flowing white beard that touched the marble floor he stood upon. He had a nightly blue gown with yellow stars and a tall, pointy hat to match. His beady eyes squinted at the setting sun from behind his bushy silver eyebrows.

The atrocious beast rose from his throne and roared with such ferocity that his onyx prison shook violently and little waterfalls of loose stone fell from the ceiling above. "Sherligon!" The old man was puzzled at something and scanned the massive marble room with his dark, beady eyes. Obviously the old man, who is known as Sherligon in this case, did not hear the entrapped god's cry to him.

So, he tried once more but so much power that the walls cracked as if they were to burst into millions of pieces of black stone.

"Sherligon!" Sherligon searched for whoever was calling to him until he stopped and finally recognized its voice. His black eyes, once filled with alertness, glowed with satisfaction and he turned his wrinkly aged face to the window. He watched the setting light transcend into darkness as he cracked in his antediluvian voice, "Dark Void, where have you been, old friend?"
