Luminous

The star map is a real time representation of all of known space. It can be scaled up and down for clarity, and displays all the information a ship's captain would need to know for any navigational tasks.

All the data is regulated by a sentient artificial intelligience, that is built into the ship and manages all the smaller,or less consequential tasks that a crew cannot.(think Cortana, or mass effect)
