Cruise Strip Drag Racing
You take the challenge. "Alright Bill, let's do this. That's if your car can make it there without breaking down." you reply back to his earlier rude comment.
You both take a turn off of 5th street and head for Flagg Rd. This road has been used numerous times for racing it even has where some one had come down at night and made a finish line. You get down to the dead end part of the Quater mile stretch start of the road and U-Turn around getting lined up with Bill.
Bill looks over at you as you pull along side his car. You rev your engine and know he can feel the vibration. His girl gets out of the car and walks up a couple feet ahead of the car and holds up a red scarf, you know when she drops it....you're off down the strip.
You check your tachometer gauge on the dash and set your red line limit. You are ready to go as your eyes focus in on the girl.
