She turns to you and is about to speak when something slams into her body, sending her moving forward. You catch her. The thing behind her has a dislocated jaw which is wobbling. Art squels for a small moment, scambling uo against you. You can feel your chest begin to bleed where she is trying to hold on. The thing staggers up and your ears pop, all noise rushing in suddenly. You hear screams, a rushed compsition as people begin surging towards the exits, even as they are pulled back by the reanimated bodies of dead things.
You grab Artemis by her wrists and haul her through the exit before the thing can grab her. She loses a shoe.
"Fuck" You growl, shouldering your way through the confusion.
You begin running down the stairs, hugging Art close to you. She stumbles along, her face slack and her eyes large. As you pass a window you see the carnage outside. In the past ten minutes chaos has erupted in the world outside of your school. People run along the street, theyre cries for help cut short and 'zombies' tackle them to th ground and feast on them.
You quickly get to the floor where the exit is. Yoou cant think of any other thing to do but to get out. You cant comprehend whats happening.
As you see the exit you run forward and slam into the door with your shoulder. Nothing. The door dosnt budge an inch.
