The search for answers

You make your way to the left of the building and drop into the crowd like a feather does from the sky. No one looks at you when you land so you are sure you are safe. You walk back and lean against the wall to clear all suspicion of you ever having dropped off of a building. When you are 100 percent sure no one noticed you, you push your way through the crowd until the streets quieten down and you are surrounded by alleyways of all directions. You were only looking at one though for a possible escape route for the latter mission, but which alleyway was it?
