The City of Andala began as a farming colony. Originally created by the Reged Family, it was named the first city of Gruye in 1050AD. Andala's first king came to power in 1062AD. King Vespala became notorious quickly for his ruthless ways. He would put to death people he suspected of stealing, cheating his law system, or getting to close to his Palace without permission. He was assassinated in 1065AD.
Andala was lawless for a year before King Emannanam began his reign. He changed the way Andala was run by first enforcing his own personal guard called 'The Emannam Guard.' He then began hiring peasants off of the street to work on his farms and other farms around Andala. before long, Andala grew and prospered. The cities' size expanded five times its original size within ten years. He was the best thing for Andala yet.

In 1076AD a government under King Emannanams rule was introduced. A Government would exist from 1076AD onwards. Under the new government, laws began to be introduced.
Punishment would be enforced if laws were disobeyed, including things like indecent exposure, theft (Which had always been a law anyway), and even breaking into someones home.
Men dressed in grey, white and even black cloaks became noticved around 1078AD. The same men were discovered around the same time as King Vespala's assassination. In 1079AD, due to the way Andala began to be ran, King Emannanam was assassinated. The men in cloaks dissapeared once more.

After the assassination of King Emannanam, Andala fell into chaos, and Andala started a mini civil war with its peoples.
It wasn't until Andalas' third king when Andala stabilized again. This time, King Vespalas' son, Vespalan I took reign over Andala.
In 1085AD, Vespalan I became king of Andala and in 2 years, the civil war ended.
The citizens of Andala were happy once more because finally they had someone to look after them.

Between 1085AD, and 1176AD, 5 kings reigned over Andala. However, all documentation of this was lost.

The time is now 1177AD. The ruler of Andala now is Prince Evidas, and once more in its documented history, the men with cloaks have appeared. However, the citizens of Andala and its lawmen over the hundred years or so have discovered that the people in the cloaks are assassins. Of what clan they sprout from, no one knows, but what everyone, citizen, Lawmen and kings alike know is that very soon, someone of great importance is going to be assassinated, but not before many good, guards and Princes of Andala, and its suburbs are killed.
