You hang on to the window grail, kick down the cabinet, and do manage to weigh down some zombies. But, due to the lightness of the wooden material, the weight did little damage to the thrashing undead. They immediately fling the darn thing to the other side of the basement and head for your legs. One sink of one of their teeth into your thigh and it is over.
It is only a matter of time before you become one of them...
