Time Traveller
You turn and run for the machine just as snad blows up from a gernade all around you killing several other Marines. But you run and you run fast as a coward would. But this is not your fight to be involved with you tell yourself.
You dive into the time machine, and start pushing several buttons as you look out seeing machine gun fire all around the machine. The Japenese soldiers must think it's a weapon of some sort and prepare to launch a rocket at it.
You see a soldier preparing to take a shot but the machine is not quick enough as the rocket launches and impacts causing the whole machine to explode with you in it.
