You decide that both should rest for the log journey ahead that awaits you both when the sun lights the ground.
You both fall asleep quickly into the night many hours later you awaken and see someone standing over Zavier with a sword through his bloody body. He is A Beast covered in blood. Before you can gather strenth for an oppertunity to fight or escape, he slashes you down as fall lying dead across Zavier's dead body. As you also join him into the next life which you were suddenly given.
