Is this place real?
As you reach the car, you are greeted by a rather cold ask-me-next-time look, but there isn't much to be worried about - as long as you start carrying the things away immediately, you shouldn't be in too much trouble. There isn't even all that much to carry away - although most is quite heavy, so you'll be doing the carrying.
Coming into the house, you immediately notice a sound, but don't realise what exactly it is. Only when you set down the crate you're carrying do you realise what it sounds like - coming unevenly and what seems like in bursts, it is as if something heavy is rubbing against the floor or wall.
Trying to stay calm, you glance side to side and wonder what you should do. Meanwhile, the noise becomes further and further away until suddenly, it stops, and is replaced be a quick beating of footsteps from somewhere above. These disappear not much later, too.
