You explain everything to him, about how you went in and found this time machine. Naturally, he doesn't believe you. But when you suggest he comes in to see the time machine, he reluctantly agrees when you tell him you will split your lottery winnings with him tomorrow.
You walk into the K-Mart, and the time machine, sure enough, is still there. But now, a sansevieria leaf with eyes and hands is looking straight at you.
Naturally, the thought of a sentient plant freaks the cop out, and he runs out of the K-Mart screaming like a little girl.
The plant leaf watches him run away for a moment, then looks at you, intently.
