You sneak around to the back of it towards the stone staircase next to its left. However, no sooner do you get to its left side than it notices you!
"You! Could you not have entered through the mouth of my castle!?" it says it in a fairly low voice, though the shock of it speaking makes it seem as if the creature is yelling.
