Ice Wolves
You tell your James and Bob your plan. "What we need to do," you explain, "is to get to the car and drive away. Hopefully, they don't know which car is whose."
"There's one problem," says James. "Amanda had the keys and her legs are gone. How do we get them?"
You look over at the werewolf and gag. "I know how," you reply.
They immediately realize your plan and groan in disgust. "There's no other way," you say. "We don't know how many of those things are actually inside the lodge. We have to get those keys if we are to survive."
Your friends reluctantly agree and ask, "How are we going to do it?"
You grab the letter opener from the monster's side and plunge it into its stomach. You pull, tearing through muscle and flesh and skin. Its torso opens, its intestines falling out. You use your elbow to break its ribcage and tear open the stomach. You hear your friends gagging and puking next to you, but your determination keeps you going. You push your hands inside, feeling around. Suddenly, your fingers touch something hard and cold. You grab it and pull it out! It's the key!
You look outside, but there's nothing there. You motion to your friends to follow before sprinting across the snow-covered ground, careful not to make a sound. You look back to see your friends behind you, but they can not keep up with you. You pause and let them catch up before starting again. You finally arrive at your car, open the door, and get in. You place the key in the hole and turn. Please work, you think. That's when you hear the engine start. You sigh in relief and unlock the doors. Your friends get in and you push on the gas pedal as hard as you can. You drive down the driveway when something suddenly races out in front of you. You swerve to avoid it and impact with a tree. Your engine stalls and you realize you're stuck for a moment. Suddenly, something jumps onto your hood. It's another werewolf! Its clawed hand breaks through the glass, aiming for your neck. It finds its target and lifts you out of the car. You scream as the werewolf bites down on your throat, killing you instantly. The only thing that you see before you die is your friend's horrified faces, and then the black.
