The Great Conflict

You peak your head through one more time and then pull back quickly. As you do a barrage of objects flies through the doorway and as soon as it passes you do a roll across the doorway firing your PEAR as you go. You aim for the shoulders and legs of the cleric to try and not kill him. You peak in the room again and no objects come flying at you. You precautiously enter and find the cleric lying on the ground with blood pouring from his mouth. You can hear gargling and see that he is struggling to breath. One of your bullets must have punctured his lungs, and judging from his injuries he will soon drown in his own blood. It would be a waste of time to try to bring him back. You instead finish him off with your foot to his throat and then move back out in the hallway to try and find more clerics.
