PEAR in hand you kick open the wooden door. The door shatters and wooden splinters go flying and before they even move out of your field of vision you begin firing with your PEAR. A cleric who was inside, poised for an attack with a green aura around him is penetrated by several high velocity bullets and falls to the ground dead. You avoided his attack but were not able to incapacitate him and take him prisoner.
