Interactive Rain's Shadow
You struggle against the sticky, black tar-like substance clinging to you and now realise how nearly you had made a very fatal mistake, it had been dragging you down slowly so as not to alarm you, eventually it would have enfolded you, drowned you or done something more horrible. Who knows what would have happened then. You shudder as gory possibilites enter your head. You feel groggy and it's hard to co-ordinate thought with action. You concentrate on the pain raging through your wounded body now, embracing it, allowing it to grow unbearably stronger and take over your mind. Your head is pounding and your heart feels ready to burst under the pressure. Sensation starts to return to the rest of your body, you can feel the hardness of the road under your shoulders, feel the stinging rain as it hits your skin like a million tiny shards of glass. You're back in the world of the living. The strength of the pain is overwhelming, you can barely think, barely move. There's nothing you can do, a small rushing sound and the world around you disappears as you pass out from the haze of pain.
