Forest Dweller

You concentrate on the location of the shard and teleport, ignoring your dizziness from your last teleportation.
You manage to get in close to it and slash, but a wave of nausea comes over you and you miss by a fraction of an inch. The shard turns and hits you in the forehead, and your lifeless body plummets to the earth below.
