Forest Dweller

You continue looking, but it seems as though she shard is reading your movements little by little. You dive into a crack to avoid it, only to find a dead end. You continue making passages with your mind, splitting the earth out of your way as you fly through the dark hollows beneath the surface. Your speed, however, can only save you through vanishing. Your human body cannot match what follows you, and finally it hits.

You feel all of your energy being sapped away as it drills its way through your back. Your skin dries up and all moisture leaves your body- you fall limply into a crack in the earth, and hear Venach fly down from the sky, laughing. Any uncertainty is gone- that laugh is pure victory.
