Hall of Infinite Doors
You shove the gun to his side, and ram hard against his chest. The gun falls to the ground, a few feet away from the man. He falls into the wall with a groan, and you grab the gun for protection.
You run through the house in a panic, knocking over shelves and other obstacles that couldve headed your escape. You finally reach the exit and feel a great sense of relief.
But you dont slow down. You continue to run as fast you can. You dont dare look back, in fear that the man is chasing you.
But just as this thought crosses your mind, you hear footsteps. Slower and farther away than yours, but they seem to be gaining on you.
Your legs begin to grow tired, but you feel you shouldnt stop. There are many shops and other houses along the path your running. But surely the person chasing you would see if you entered one of them. You see a curve in the distance of the path, but its pretty far off and your fatigue increases with every step.
What will you do?
