You run out of Peter's backyard and past his pool as fast as possible. You hop the fence leading to his front yard and scramble for your truck. Nikky could be in trouble.
Your truck roars to life and jams into gear. You have to slow for the left turn at the end of the block, and a good thing too--that cop car is making a right onto Mountainview Lane.
You drive quickly down the hill, trying to catch up with Nikky. You assume she is going to take the fastest way home. You find her in a park, with grassy lawns, trees and benches on both sides. It's getting darker and darker here, and the road is not well lit. Her car is pulled off to the side of the road. You stop about a hundred yards behind her and wait.
