A Life With Pokemon
"Pid PIDGEY!" a nearby Pidgey squawks stirring you from your sound sleep.
Instantly you shoot up, alert. Your tenth birthday had passed two weeks ago. You lived in a small village called Arawk Town that was not listed on the map. It was settled on the border just between Kanto and Johto. It was surrounded by forests and wild Pokemon. There had not been a Pokemon trainer from there for years now and today was the day that Professor Oak had decided to visit, claiming to do research on a newly found species of Pokemon.
In seconds you are dressed and fed. Before running out to the Town Square where the Professor would be you grab your new Pokenav your father had sent as your birthday present. You mother cried a bit as she grabbed you into a hug and her Slowpoke gave a small yawn as you left.
Running down the dirt path your eyes trail to the several bug and flying Pokemon hanging around nearby and your heart pounds with excitement. When you reach the Town Square you see an entire crowd of people, several of which had cameras and mircophones and seemed to be on official business.
"I suppose it's not a big surprise, he is well known," you say to yourself, wondering how you're going to reach the professor.
